Conservative Party members from across Central Devon got together yesterday at the Devon Hotel in Matford for the Association's Annual Constituency Dinner. It was the first time in more than 18 months that a local fundraiser had been held and guests enjoyed a wonderful evening of food and an interesting talk from guest speaker Sir Geoffrey Cox QC MP. The neighbouring MP joined our own MP Mel Stride for the dinner, which was nearly sold out.
Speaking after the dinner Mel said:
"It was great to see everyone and I hope this is the first of many events we will be able to hold over the next year as we return to relative normality after the disruptions of Covid-19. It was especially good to see a number of young faces in the room, a good sign for our Association going forward."
